The protection of private information is a fundamental condition to guarantee the individual and civil liberties of all. In view of the numerous scandals (Facebook – Cambridge Analytica) concerning devious uses of personal data, the CADTM reminds that the regulation n° 2016/679 is also applicable to the GAFAM (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft) and other multinationals that regularly abuse them.
