The mobilizations at the 3rd Asia-Europe Summit (ASEM) which met on October 20 and 21, 2000 in Seoul (South Korea), represented a new stage in the struggle against neoliberal globalization. Attending the summit were the heads of state and government of 10 Asiatic countries and the 15 members of the European Union.
