CADTM Europe held its 3rd Summer University between 28 and 30 June
at la Marlagne, near Namur, in Belgium, receiving more than 300 people from 28 different countries.

Twenty-five workshops and plenary sessions which analyzed what is at stake and discuss the ways and means to resist the debt system in the North as well as in the South: citizens’ audit movements and opposition to austerity measures in Europe and elsewhere; the struggle for women’s emancipation; recognizing the existence of ecological debt; history of debt: educational tools and much more.

These workshops were led by guests from all over the world.

    A Canaan, la lutte des peuples contre l’esclavage de la dette s’inscrit parfaitement dans le cadre qu’Éric Toussaint a tracé pour la Mésopotamie.
