 Let’s step up our actions against those complicit in the genocide

The genocide of the Palestinian people is intensifying day by day.

While the colonial state of Israel launched a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip in early September, it is ensuring that resistance is silenced through starvation and bombs.

To facilitate its invasion, Israel has cut off all means of external communication. It is orchestrating a “blackout” with weapons, funding and political and media impunity provided by Western powers.

Since 2007, the Zionist regime has been blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza in order to starve its inhabitants and silence them. But even if a few trucks managed to get through, for the past two years Israel has been preventing any outside aid.

In response, direct action is multiplying to demand an end to genocide and colonisation : workers organising to prevent arms and fuel deliveries in many countries ; the Teledyne site attacked, a McDonald’s set on fire and a bunch of Carrefour stores blocked during the “Bloquons tout !” (= Block everything) social movement in France ; a general strike and riots in Italy ; sabotage of Elbit Systems sites in England, Belgium and Germany, and the list goes on.

Unable to tolerate the horror any longer, hundreds of activists from around the world took to the sea on September 10^th aboard 50 ships.

These humanitarian flotillas, the largest ever assembled, seek to break the siege by sea. But the genocidal state knows the risk it would take in allowing a breach to open. The flotillas, which it describes as “ships of terror”, have already been attacked several times by drones. Twelve new attacks took place during the night of September 23^rd to 24^th : explosions, chemical spraying, and jamming of radio waves near or directly on several boats.

 Let’s coordinate our efforts to act together everywhere !

Let’s continue and amplify our actions in support of the Palestinian people :

• In Italy: the dockers of Genoa have already warned that they will “block Europe if contact is lost with the flotillas”.

• In France: Les Digitales, Kessem, Palestine Action, and the Gaza France Freedom Flotilla are calling for mobilisation on the very day that Israel intercepts one of the flotillas.

• In France again: many youth organisations are calling for blockades of secondary schools and universities if they touch the flotillas

Let’s follow their calls and organise ourselves to target the accomplices of the perpetrators of genocide wherever they may be:

• Carrefour - in line with the actions carried out during the “Bloquons tout !” social movement in France - and other targets identified by BDS for their active participation in colonisation and their collaboration with the Israeli army.

• Thalès, Safran, Elbit Systems and all companies feeding the Israeli military-industrial complex, as urged by Palestinian trade unions.

Let us all act together when Israel obstructs the flotillas and continue the fight until Palestine is liberated !
