The Social Movements Assembly (SMA) is a coalition of different movements struggling against capitalism, racism and patriarchy. The SMA is convinced that In order to strengthen these struggles, to bring them out of isolation and to inverse the overall balance of power it is necessary to link-up and to create common coordinations. The SMA is a process that aims at developing common agendas for action and mobilisations. It is also a forum that would give content to the slogan, « Another World is Possible » by taking position firmly in the alternatives against global capitalism, and seeking the quickest way towards a society based on satisfying the needs of the population and on respect for the environment.
